I actually got my mom to wash my hair for me last night because I am limited w/my shoulder. I had her wash first with the Tahlia Wajiid Cleansing shampoo which pretty much strips your hair of all the the product build up. I followed up with the Tahlia Wajiid's Moiturizing shampoo. I did do a mix of product lines this time which I don't do all of the time. I used Carol's Daughter Hair Smoothie Conditioner. Unforunately, I couldn't twist my hair as I usually do. I used Carol's daughter Hair Milk to just feed my hair more moisture. I then used a Motions Leave in conditioner to keep my hair healthy. To twist my hair I used Carols daughter Hair Butter along with Olive Oil Mousse. I when my hair hair was drying out, I used my favorite home made daily moisturizer, I use water with jojoba oil and lavendar. I don't know if I every mentioned that the water is the best moisterizer because molicules or small and can asorb easily, in the summer I use it every morning. I haven't taken twists out today. I will do it tomorrow it tomorrow when I go out I will take before and after pics. I am hoping nice coils, fingers crossed.
So, tell me what you have done lately.

Ready, Set, Go

It is time to be enthusiastic about our hair that God has given us. I do not have a problem with changing up sometimes but God has given us a Crown of Glory! I am looking forward to what this year will bring to me, life which certainly my hair. My plan to track growth is to wash and do an afro blow out, I think that is the easiet way for us to stay on top of "charting"
I am a traditional twistout girl be it large for texture of small for curls. I have rodded my hair and loved it. I am all about expanding my horizon of different styles. I encourage all to do so. I am considering a sew-in just for the change but not feeling the wig thing.
Back to charting I think once a month would be fine. Right now I am most interested in looking at the styles we can achieve. The truth of the matter is that I cannot chart until my shoulder heals more. I work hard on trying to do my own hair with this shoulder thing. I think I am going to a stylist since I cannot do my hair myself. I think I am going to by myself one of those doll heads to teach Sydney how to help me and for me to experience. I have to see if there is one with my texture hair....most likely. but I can try.
So tell me what are you on the hunt for or what are your style dreams right now. Post it! The image above is where I wanted to get don't know how for from that but I do want to try it. Okay I cannot find the original one but I will show you something I like. I think this will be cute for Lindsey's wedding.
