  1. Also I really am feeling the curls line I got the blissful lengths and curl control paste, then I got a jar of Kinky Curly custard, HE Totally Twisted curls and waves, Twisted sista curl spray and de frizz condish that is all for now lol. Ms. jessie's products is high and cost to much!! I got all my stuff at Target, I will try to take pics and let you know the out come of the products! But I do not straight up sha mpoo my hair I pre poo and condish really well without rinsing.... I have a feel that curl paste is going to be a winner for my edges.

  2. *Mixed Chicks...the shampoo, conditioner & curl activator...for the price I wasn't impressed
*The ENTIRE line of Olyin Handmade...I love it but I can't afford the habit anymore...and their products can do double duty...shampoo that's a body wash as well. A smoothing gel that's also a face cream. LOVE IT.
*Kinky Curly Spiral Spritz not impressed again.
*Silk Elements Mixed Silk Leave In Creame...$5 at Sally's..again something else I love
*(my new love) Urban Therapy's Twisted Sista...OMG the curl activator and curl spray have kept my curls purty for 2 days. ($4.50 @ Walgreens)

I'll try to get pics and stuff up on my blog soon. (LOL)

  3. Monique, you might want to try using one line at a time to make sure you know what really works for you. You might want to try Taliah Wajiid if those don't work for you. You have to buy it in beauty supply store but it is not expensive and works pretty well. When Shroamie was here and needed a retouch badly it detangled her hair. Steph is using it on Claire's hair, so ask her what shop she purchased it at. They have come out with some new things I have not tried yet.

Nikki, I have not tried Olyin yet, you are tempting me, but I am trying to spend a ton of money to keep may hair looking nice. I love Carol's Daughter's Hair Butter, but it is so expensive. I like the feel of it better in my twist outs than I do gel. I may try a Taliah Waajid twist out, I have done one in a while, maybe I will be in love again. lol. You certainly have piqued my curiosity about Urban Therapy! I cannot wait to go to the salon. I want to get highlights, I think. I am very interested in seing what they do. The good thing about having natural hair is you do not have to go to the salon often. I really need to start experimenting with styles.

I have a problem with my front not wanting to curl right, so I end up in headbands almost all of the time and it frustrating. I really want to play a lot with my hair this summer. I cannot wait until my hair is your length Nikki.

  4. My hair is rodded really tight in my current pic, so my hair is a bit longer than it appears.

  5. Shawn, Not into trying one product at a time as they are for different things one would be for curl inhancement the other for body etc.. Dont really like Taliah Wajiid's line it is just not for me **shrug** my hair do not really tangle I have a different texture than most (just sayin') I do like you hair in the pic it suits you :D

  6. We all have different textures, I know your texture is different from mine. The girl who hipped me to the line hair is actually softer than yours. You are right each product if for a different thing but I found that I learned what worked best on my hair is using one product line at a time, especially the first time I use it. I mix lines all of the time but I may use one thing for moisture, another for curl enhancement and so forth. No one product will work for everyone. If you try Komaza Care, they formulate products according to texture. Go to the website if you want to see what your hair type is, you will probably find you are more than one, most people have more than one texture. I am all over the map. Komaza Care is pricey, however, you can try their sample kits for $25. You can look at testimonials on their line on You Tube.

  7. I just might get the same set! I got my hair assed one time and turns out I have the same all over forgot the texture score but I dunno we will see! I will let you know that Kinky curly if used to much makes your hair hard so that is a windy day ONLY product! Because I hate my hair to be hard! I'm so dissappointed it worked wonders on Domi's hair :(
